Audio Transcribers

We currently have a requirement for home-based audio transcribers. We are ideally looking for experienced transcribers who are looking for 20+ hours a week, but we are also willing to take on part-time transcribers looking to supplement their income.

To work for PageSix you must be based in the UK. You will need to have excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar as well as attention to detail. You will also need to have broadband internet, good internet research skills and flexible availability. You should have a typing speed of at least 50wpm and be able to complete one hour of audio in four hours or less. (The audio test is 4.5 minutes and therefore should take you no longer than around 20 minutes to complete, or perhaps 30 minutes if you are new to transcription.)

If your application is successful you will be sent a login for our system to enable you to claim work as and when you are available. Payment is per audio hour. We only continue to use transcribers who are flexible, adhere to deadlines and consistently produce accurate work. Due to the large number of applications we receive we will only contact you if we wish to take your application further.

To proceed with your application you must complete the audio test, application form and English test.

Step 1: Read the Test Instructions, download the Audio File (right click and Save Link As...)
and complete the transcript on the Transcript Template. Save your Test Transcript as a Word document.
