Academic Transcription Services

We provide a professional and efficient transcription solution to many universities across the UK. We have transcribed interviews, focus groups, lectures and phone calls for many psychology, education and research departments in particular.

Our rates are transparent and are based on the turnaround you require. We offer a longer turnaround of two weeks at a reduced rate for all universities and students. Please contact us for details. If a faster turnaround is required then we offer 10% off our standard business rates (please see Business Transcription page). Billing is per audio minute and we do not charge extra for more speakers or for poor quality audio. Purchase order numbers are required if the university is to be invoiced for your work.

Your work will only be transcribed in the UK by transcribers who have English as their mother tongue. We do not outsource to other countries. All of our transcribers sign a confidentiality agreement and agree not to disclose any information to third parties. Your audio files and transcripts are encrypted during transfer through our secure upload system. You will be given access to your own password protected account where you can view the status of your transcripts at any time. No one will know your account password but you.

Our online booking system is designed to be both quick and simple to use. We transcribe 'intelligent verbatim' as standard but are happy to use any template you may wish to provide or adapt our style or format to meet your requirements. All transcripts are quality checked before being returned and we guarantee an excellent accuracy rate.
